Our Convenient Care Will Keep You & Your Loved Ones Happy

As a parent or caregiver, you want what’s best for your family. High-quality dental care is right at the top of the list of things that can set your child up for future success. That’s why Drs. Smith and Wetterhus recommend bringing your child to see us for the first time at around age 3 or 4. These early visits are what we call “happy visits” where we get them acquainted with us and show them around the office.

As your kids get older, we’ll perform complete cleanings and exams, just like we do for our adult patients. One of the benefits our patient families love about our practice is that with a little advance notice, we can schedule your entire family to come in at the same time. This saves you time, money, and hassle!

Relax in Our Care

We know how important it is for your loved ones to receive the best dental care they can. Not only do we offer a wide variety of treatments for everyone, we do it as comfortably as possible. Your family is welcome to take advantage of our amenities to ease any dental anxiety they may feel over their appointment. These special items include:

  • Cozy blankets to chase away the chill
  • Soft, supportive pillows to keep your head and neck comfortable
  • Warm tones in our office to set a pleasant mood
  • A water feature that will help calm and relax anxious nerves

In addition to comforting amenities, we also offer sedation options. You can choose either:

  • Inhaled Sedation – Our anxious patients love the sedative effect that laughing gas gives them. Shortly after breathing in this sweet-smelling gas, you’ll begin to feel euphoric and light. Your arms and legs may even feel slightly tingly. The effects wear off just as quickly once we give you oxygen, so there are no lingering aftereffects. Plus, laughing gas is safe even for children.
  • Oral Conscious Sedation – For a stronger level of sedation, your dentist can write a prescription for oral sedation. Taken before your appointment, you will feel completely relaxed by the time your exam or procedure begins. The pill may make you groggy, so a friend or family member will need to drive you home.
