See How a Full-Mouth Reconstruction Can Help You Smile Again
We do a lot of full-mouth reconstruction cases in our office. We are very good about taking models of patients’ mouths, and the assistants do a great job with that, and then they bring that to me and we usually have two sets of models: one that I do a diagnostic wax-up on and the other I leave alone. And then we show the patient how we can change your smile and change their bite. We’re really big on function here in this office, and it has to fit in order for the teeth to look good as well.
So full-mouth reconstruction could entail some orthodontics. Sometimes it’s Invisalign to get the teeth set upright. Sometimes we send to a periodontist to add bone in different areas. So there’s a lot that goes into these workups that we do for our patients. And then it might be an implant-supported bridge or crown, it might be crowns. The full mouth is crowns. So we do a lot of different services in this office, and most of them we stay in-house. But then we do have to refer a few things.
