Our Puyallup dental team can’t wait to meet you. Find out more about each of our staff members in the meantime.
Vita (as she is known around the office) came on board with us in 2018, having worked in dentistry since 2016. She completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). Within the next year, Vita is planning to begin work toward a master’s degree in education. Besides enjoying dentistry in general, the best part about her job is working with our team and interacting with our patients. Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, shopping at Target, drinking coffee, and taking long walks with a friend. Vita is a firm believer in the value of an afternoon nap.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She began her dental career in 2009 and joined our team in 2012. The best part of her job is getting to know our patients, understanding their dental needs, and helping them with their smiles. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, being outdoors, golfing, and reading.
Angela has worked with us since 2017 and has been in the dental field since 2013. She is certified through the Dental Assisting National Board and plans to pursue certification as an expanded functions dental assistant. She enjoys helping out with the wide variety of dental services that we offer our patients. Outside of work, Angela likes to spend quality time with her husband and 2-year-old son and serve at their new church in Federal Way.
Ashley holds an associate’s degree and began her dental career in 2012. She became part of our team in 2015. Each year she completes her continuing education requirements at the Pacific Northwest Dental Conference. A great group of coworkers is what Ashley enjoys most about her job. Away from the office, she likes spending time with her family, taking road trips, and indulging in good food.
Chrystal began working in dentistry in 1998 and joined our team in 2015. Her favorite part about her job is seeing a once-fearful patient walk out with a smile, knowing they made the right choice for their dental care. Away from work, she enjoys vacationing in Chelan, spending quality time with her husband and two kids, and having dinner and playing games with friends.
Echo joined our staff in 2016, having worked in dentistry since 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington State University. The best part about her job is working with our patients and helping them feel comfortable. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with her kids and traveling.
Julie completed her Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She became a part of our staff in 2018, having worked in the dental field since 2011. Julie completes 15 or more hours of continuing education each year. She loves interacting with our patients, getting to know them and helping educate them so they can improve their oral health. When she’s not working, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, reading, being outdoors, and relaxing with a good movie.
Maranda began her dental career back in 2009 and has worked for us since 2016. She is also a certified dental assistant and feels the best part of her job is getting to laugh with our patients. When she’s not working, you might find Maranda enjoying time with her husband and two children or shopping at Target.
Mary joined our team in 1999 and has worked in dentistry since 1994. Each year she exceeds the continuing education requirements of her position. Mary has always been drawn in by a beautiful, healthy smile. The best parts of her job are the connections she has built with her teammates and patients. They are what keep her coming back to work each day after all these years. She feels that she has “grown up” at our dental practice and that it and our patients have become a part of her soul and who she is. Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, reading, listening to live music, attending her kids’ sporting events, and doing yoga.
Emily joined our team in 2017 and has worked in dentistry since 2014. She enjoys restoring our patients’ confidence and bringing joy back to their smiles. In her spare time, Emily likes working out, running, and going to farmers markets with her kids in the summer.
